A little about me
Hi! My name is Shannon Miller.
I am a wife. I am a mommy. I am a business owner. I am a Jill of all trades!
About my family: I’m married to Robert Miller, an electrician. He’s currently with the electrician’s union after having no luck getting hired elsewhere. I don’t think he’s crazy about being a union worker, but he’s got to admit, the benefits are great!!!
My oldest child is Dakota. Dakota is 8 years old and is in the 3rd grade this year. He’s always had a problem learning to read, but is doing much better this year than in 1st and 2nd grades. He’s a good kid, most of the time and listens better than his brother and sister. Dakota doesn’t really like school, he doesn’t care to learn. He hates doing homework and that makes it rough on mommy. He does like to help mommy clean house; only because he likes money! haha
Billy is my middle child. He is 6 and is in 1st grade this year. He is EXTREMELY smart, but doesn’t like to behave. He has an issue listening to anything mommy has to say, but will listen to his daddy pretty well. (Too bad daddy isn’t home more often to make Billy listen!). Billy is a bit lazy, doesn’t like to do his chores. He loves school and loves doing his homework. He’s gotten all A’s on his report cards this year, makes mommy and daddy proud!
Brookelyn is mommy’s little Angel (with red horns). She’s my 3 year old baby. She’s completely potty trained, thank goodness! I’m so thrilled not having to buy and change diapers/pull ups anymore!! She’s really smart, and beautiful, but she is a bit of a monster lol. She likes to terrorize mommy and try to get her way ALL the time. I just started implementing Super Nanny’s time out, so we’ll see how that works. Nothing else I try with her has worked so far…
We have too many pets. There are two inside dogs, two outside dogs, one inside cat (5 months old), and his momma is now an outside cat. The animals are a lot to take care of, but myself and the kids have our own chores as far as feeding and taking care of them.
Now a little more about me! I’m 32 years old (sometimes feel twice that!), I’m a work at home mom. I own a web hosting business selling hosting and also installing, setting up and designing Zen Cart shopping carts. I co-own a graphics design business where we make web graphics and printable business materials for small businesses. We also do printable invitations, coupons, etc. I also co-own an adult business selling adult toys, lingerie, sexy shoes & boots, bath & body products and many more romance items. I like to network with other work at home moms and work at home dads as well.
I like talking about other work at home mom and dads on my blog, as well as posting recipes and pretty much anything I find interesting. If this hasn’t bored you to death yet, maybe you’ll enjoy my blog!
